PENELOPE (now Rosie)

Adopted February 25, 2025

Penelope and Phoebe, two female siblings, were abandoned as though they were trash, not worth keeping. They are anything but! These young mackerel tabbies are playful, curious, and full of love; it just took the right individual to recognize what incredile felines they are. Well Penelope has found her forever love! Robin gave Penelope - now named Rosie - a fresh new start to life and a wonderful new home. Within days Rosie has acclimated and has already become a purr-machine soundtrack to Robin's life. Many blessings to you Robin for adopting Rosie!

QUEEN ELIZABETH (Now Pixie Joy)

Adopted February 23, 2025

Queen Elizabeth was found behind AALOC, cowering under a car, afraid to come out. Luckily the AALOC team is amazingly skilled at gaining the trust of frightened animals and was able to convince Queen Elizabeth to allow them to help her. Multiple attempts were made to find her previous owners but no one claimed her, so Queen Elizabeth was ready to start a new life with a new family. Not anymore! Ben and Babette recognized what a great little pooch Pixie Joy was and adopted her today. Thank you Ben and Babette for opening your heart and home to Pixie Joy!

SUNDANCE

Adopted February 17, 2025

Neighbors called AALOC complaining about a Chihuahua that was running down the street. When we found the dogs owners they claimed the dog had been dumped in their backyard and they didn’t want to keep him. The AALOC team found out it was all a lie – Sundance had been their pet since he was a puppy. He just wasn’t wanted anymore. Not all humans are that heartless though and Sundance has found a new family with humans who have hearts of gold. Thank you so much Timothy and Hannah for choosing to love Sundance!

BOOGIE

Adopted January 31, 2025

Boogie, a tiny kitten, was found in an alley by a homeless man who cared enough not to leave him without help, so he placed Boogie on AALOC's front law and then walked away. We were able to find a foster home for Boogie where Boogie thrived. His foster parent said Boogie was just precious; the cutest little kitten ever! Well Boogie used all his wiles to find a new forever love just in time for Valentine's Day. Her name is Mish and Boogie is smittten with his new pet mom. Thank you Mish for giving Boogie your heart and for taking him home!
