Tucker has been adopted! Carrie selected this cute little guy and it looks like Tucker is 100% approved. We are so happy for both of them! Finding wonderful people like Carrie, who are willing to share their heart and home with dogs in need, make all our efforts so worthwhile.

This bonded pair of dogs were left tied to a tree one cold December day. Recently though they were adopted by a lovely family willing to care for both dogs since they needed to be adopted together. Photos from the family showed how quickly Lily and Lucy fell in love with their new owners, particularly the daughter, and how they immediately adapted to their new home. We are now calling them Lucky Lucy and Lily!
We love to follow along with the families that adopt the cats and dogs from AALOC and we received a new note from Vilay and Michelle shortly after Christmas, along with two photos of the family. It is so apparant that Lily and Lucy are very loved. What a blessing to have Lucy and Lily adopted into this home!

Brooke is a very special dog, just super sweet and smart. She loves being held and would quit walking when out with volunteers just so they had to pick her up and cuddle her. Kathy saw right through to Brooke's heart and adopted her into her pack of small dogs. Brooke now lives the good life! Thank you Kathy for taking Brooke home!
