OREO

Adopted April 20, 2024

Oreo, a little black and white tabby, was abandoned. With his long fluffy mane, playful attitude and affectionate nature it was very difficult to understand why this handsome feline had lost his home. But that no longer is an issue since Oreo has been adopt by a loving family who realized just what a wonderful addition Oreo would be. A recent note from his new pet parents said: "Oreo is doing great! He is very loving and sweet, as you know." Thank you for inviting this delightful kitty into your lives and loving him forever.

A black-and-white kitten happily eats from a shallow tub of dry cat food on a concrete surface, with a small wet patch nearby.
A couple cuddles with a black-and-white cat on a bed, friendliest smiles as they hug the cat close, cozy moment together.

ARTHUR (now Punchy)

Adopted March 1, 2024

Two homeless people took Athur from his littermates and said they would care him. But that was not the case at all: these sick individuals gave Arthur meth and thought it was funny. Another homeless individual, a veteran, was feeding Arthur but knew Arthur was still in danger. So, the veteran contacted AALOC and one of AALOC’s staff began building a relationship with Athur. It took a bit of time before Arthur trusted the AALOC team member but eventually she was able to capture Arthur and bring him to safety. Another compassionate woman donated $1000 towards Athur’s care. Without the veteran who cared enough to get involved, the generous supporter, and the patient and caring AALOC angel we know Arthur would not be alive today.

Arthur recently found a new pet parent; one we know will love and care for Arthur forever. Jhaymie adopted Arthur and renamed him Punchy. We send our gratitude to Jhaymie and wish her and Punchy a long, happy life together.

IGGY

Adopted February 20, 2024

A Good Samaritan found Iggy behind a bush in a park. And even though this sweet lady was severely allergic to cats she cared enough to pick Iggy up and take him home. But for this reason, there was no way this individual could keep the adorable kitten she found, so she reached out to AALOC for help. This male, Flame Point Siamese feline is very playful and sometimes got a little feisty. Iggy also has a mild medical condition. His new home had to be one with a single adult owner and without any other pets. It seems like a tall order, but Iggy has recently found his perfect match! Thank you Kathryn for giving Iggy a forever home, and for all the support you have provided AALOC over the years!

JULIETTE

Adopted December 30, 2023

Juliette was found on the streets as a stray. Although a bit shy at first, Juliette warmed up quickly with a few scratches, a bit of playtime and a little attention. All she wanted was a home for Christmas and her dream just came true. Juliette was adopted by a loving family that was able to see through her initial shyness to the strikingly beautiful and loving feline she is and Juliette has already completely made herself comfortable at her new home. Thank you so much for giving Juliette a chance and a new family to love.
