HENRY

Adopted February 25, 2021

Henry was found on the streets of Anaheim without any identification – no collar, no harness, no microchip. The compassionate individual who rescued him tried every means to find his previous owner but to no avail and brought him to AALOC. This young black and tan Chihuahua-mix pooch has recently found his new forever home and the love of his life.

Henry needed a very special owner willing to continue bonding exercises recommended by a trainer to develop Henry's trust and confidence. Michelle fit that bill perfectly! Patient and gentle, Michelle reports very good results within only a few days of Henry's arrival. She texted: "We are bonding! Thank you so much! I love him." And likewise, it didn't take long for Henry to become comfortable in his new home. Photos and videos Michelle sent show him lounging on comfy blankets in the living room, playing with toys and enjoying the sunshine on Michelle's lovely patio - smiling in every shot.

Thank you Michelle for being just the right person for Henry and sharing your home and heart with him. Many, many happy tails to you both!

TROUBLE

Adopted February 21, 2021

Mother Faith was pregnant and on the street, alone, before she was spotted and scooped up by the AALOC team. What could have been a horrible start to life for Faith’s five kittens (two females and three males) turned into one of the best things that could possibly happen to this feline family.

Trouble, one of Faith's six-month old kittens, was adopted to a very sweet lady in Naples. It’s always a bittersweet moment for us to say goodbye. It’s also hard on the cats initially. They have no idea where their siblings, volunteers, everyone and everything they knew went, and find themselves in a completely unfamiliar world with a stranger. However, after a week or two of decompressing, adjusting and bonding, Trouble will be loving his mom and all the spoiling coming his way. We are so happy and grateful for the new life Trouble will have!

SUNNY (now Alphie)

Adopted January 26, 2021

A woman became homeless and began living in her car – along with her six small dogs, including two females that were pregnant and soon to give birth. Realizing the danger the dogs were in, and with great sadness, she surrendered the dogs to AALOC.

Our hearts are so grateful to Henry and Sara for taking the last little puppy home. Henry and Sara named him Alphie and we know his life will be a joy every day. Helping the homeless lady do the right thing by surrendering her dogs and allowing them to have wonderful new lives could not have been accomplished without our supporters and new adoptee parents. In other words: we can't do it without you!

Thank you so much Henry and Sara for taking this little love home.

THOMAS O'MALLEY & MOCHI

Adopted January 17, 2021

Thomas O'Malley, an orange and white tabby, was abandoned in a company parking lot and lived with a feral community for a while before a kind gentleman recognized he was too friendly to humans to actually have been feral. Mochi was abandoned in a small box left on the front of the kennel. She managed to escape the box but the kennel team was able to capture this small, black female feline. Thomas and Mochi first met at AALOC but became instant buddies.

We are so grateful that Diana came to AALOC looking for a bonded pair of cats and chose to take home Thomas O'Malley and Mochi. This darling pair of feline friends now have the home they need and a person to call their own. Based on the photos Diana sent it didn't take this pair very long at all to make themselves comfortable at Diana's house.

Thank you Diana for making dreams come true for these two kitties!
